On January 21, 2025, the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB) hosted the 2nd International Mobility Fairs – a unique event dedicated to student exchanges and inter-university cooperation within the Erasmus+ Programme.
Organized by the WUEB International Cooperation Center, the fair attracted many students interested in studying or completing internships abroad.
During the event, representatives of foreign partner universities presented their stands, encouraging students to take advantage of international education opportunities. Visitors could explore a variety of informational materials – leaflets, brochures, and university gadgets – and received personalized advice on studying and living in partner countries.
Representatives of partner universities included:
- Oliver Tettenborn – Dresden University of Technology, Germany
- Basak Coskun – Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Turkey
- Şemsettin Tabur – Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Turkey
- Abdullah Yildiz – Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Turkey
- Felice Langiu – University of Sassari, Italy
- Marco Scanu – University of Sassari, Italy
- Eugenia Diaz – University of A Coruña, Spain

The international guests expressed great appreciation for the WUEB campus. As part of the accompanying programme, they also enjoyed a guided tour of Wrocław, which left a lasting impression. Guests from the University of Sassari delivered a lecture to WUEB students, encouraging them to participate in Erasmus+ mobility.
Particularly popular were the presentations by WUEB students who had already participated in Erasmus+ exchanges and shared their personal experiences. Their practical advice, enthusiasm, and genuine stories inspired many attendees to take the first step toward studying abroad.

Additionally, the International Mobility Section organized an informational meeting on the Erasmus+ Programme, featuring remarks from Professor Bogusława Drelich-Skulska, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.

Once again, the International Mobility Fairs have demonstrated that studying abroad is not only an opportunity for academic development but also a chance to discover the world, explore new cultures, and meet inspiring people. Each year, this international event allows WUEB students to interact directly with representatives of partner universities and to learn about opportunities for academic and cultural growth at both institutions.
The fair provided an excellent platform for building relationships and broadening horizons – for students as well as for university staff.
The next edition of the International Mobility Fairs will take place in the second week of March 2026. We look forward to seeing you there!
