In the academic year 2022/2023, many distinguished professors from various parts of the world visited our university, conducting teaching activities for students.

We had the pleasure of hosting as many as 55 professors from abroad, which is a record number to date. They represented countries such as Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Latvia, Germany, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

The exciting meetings of our students and the collaboration of the academic staff of the WUEB with professors from various countries have enabled us to:

• Gain insights into their teaching and research methods,
• Expand knowledge regarding various scientific issues and cultural differences,
• Better understand global and regional economic, social, and political challenges from the perspectives of different countries,
• Share our own achievements and experiences.

The presence of foreign professors at our university is a unique opportunity for our students and academic staff. Thanks to the diversity of experiences and perspectives, guests from international academic centers contribute to enhancing our educational offerings, making our students’ classes even more diverse.

It is worth emphasizing that this international exchange of knowledge and experiences is the result of the systematically developed cooperation of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business with universities around the world. The conclusion of new partnership agreements by the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, obtaining significant funds from the Erasmus+ and Interekon programs, has created solid foundations for such a large presence of visiting professors.

We sincerely thank all the professors who visited the WUEB and made a significant contribution to the development of our students’ future competencies. Your presence has been inspiring for us, fostering an atmosphere of openness and cooperation beyond national and cultural boundaries.
