During the 2023/2024 academic year, our University had the privilege of welcoming an exceptional group of visiting professors from around the world. A total of 71 international scholars joined us — 48 of them within the Erasmus+ programme, and the remaining guests through bilateral agreements and other forms of academic cooperation — to share their expertise with our students and to strengthen academic partnerships through joint research and collaboration initiatives.

They represented a wide range of countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Their presence created valuable opportunities for both students and faculty to explore diverse teaching and research approaches, broaden their understanding of academic and cultural perspectives, and gain deeper insights into global and regional economic, social, and political challenges — all while sharing their own experiences and accomplishments.

The involvement of international professors at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB) is a true asset to our academic community. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives enrich our teaching offer, making the learning experience more engaging, dynamic, and globally oriented.

This vibrant exchange of knowledge and ideas stems from the long-term cooperation between WUEB and its partner institutions worldwide. The steady expansion of international agreements has provided a solid foundation for hosting such a remarkable number of visiting professors.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the professors who joined WUEB and contributed to developing the future competencies of our students. Your presence has been truly inspiring, fostering an atmosphere of openness, collaboration, and mutual respect across national and cultural boundaries.
