The Academic Mentoring project was launched in June 2022 as the first strategic project. Its main objective was to foster cooperation between a mentee and a mentor in one of three areas:
✔ Academic Writing (focused on developing skills related to preparing scientific publications and/or grant applications),
✔ Research Skills (aimed at enhancing methodological and research competencies),
✔ International Team-Working (intended to internationalise research activities – conducting international research and/or preparing publications within international teams and/or developing applications; commercialisation of research outcomes).
The seventh scientific seminar was dedicated to the activities completed to date. The seminar was an opportunity to:
✔ give certificates to mentoring pairs who have completed their collaboration and summarize the outcomes of their mentoring processes,
✔ report the current achievements of mentees participating in the 3rd and 4th editions,
✔ express thanks to everyone involved in the project implementation, including Vice-Rectors, the Priority Council “Recognized Research Inspired by Science”, and the admissions and evaluation committee.
It is worth noting that “Academic Mentoring” is the first strategic project to be launched and completed at the WUEB. We are incredibly proud of its execution and progress, and we sincerely thank all participants and contributors.
