On November 6-7, 2024, we are hosting the Peer Review Team of CEEMAN IQA (Central and East European Management Development Association International Quality Accreditation) at our University. The purpose of the visit is to review the progress of our University and the changes we have made since obtaining this accreditation for the first time in 2017.
CEEMAN is an international organization whose main goal is to increase the quality of management education. The organization was founded in 1993, and has offered the CEEMAN IQA international accreditation program for business schools since 1998.
Having CEEMAN IQA accreditation is a confirmation of the university’s prestige, high quality education, research and efficient management of the university.
The Peer Review Team includes:
- Prof. Peter McKiernan – Professor of Management from Strathclyde Business School (UK).
- Prof. Helena van Zyl – retired professor of economics and finance (South Africa)
On behalf of the WUEB, the meeting was attended by representatives of the University Authorities:
- His Magnificence Rector prof. dr hab. Czesław Zając,
- Vice-Rector for International Cooperation prof. dr hab. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska,
- Vice-Rector for Research prof. dr hab. Marek Kośny.
Our university received CEEMAN IQA accreditation for the first time on March 8, 2017. WUEB Reaccreditation Self-Assessment Report submitted in September 2024 was positively evaluated by the Peer Review Team, and the visit is the next step in the re-accreditation process.
We would like to thank all the participants of the meetings with the CEEMAN IQA Peer Review Team for their time. At the same time, we would like to invite the entire community of our University to a meeting summarizing the Peer Review Team’s visit, during which we will learn about preliminary decisions and recommendations for the future. The meeting is scheduled for November 7 at 2:00 pm in room 205A.
