On November 21, 2024, the second edition of Integration Day took place at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. Members of our academic community demonstrated how, through diversity, we create an inclusive, accessible, and open university. The event was aimed at both domestic and international students as well as academic and administrative staff. The significance of the event was elevated by its ceremonial opening by the Rector, Prof. dr hab. Czesław Zając, and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. dr hab. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska.
Our event’s motto remains unchanged:
UNI:TY – The university is all of us, and everyone here is respected and accepted
The main goals of the event were:
- Fostering a sense of community within our university in a casual and welcoming atmosphere;
- Actively encouraging international students to engage;
- Building a multicultural, open-minded community at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.
It’s worth highlighting that the organization of Integration Day II involved staff from various university departments, including the International Cooperation Center (Erasmus+), the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the Student Union, the Foreign Language Center (SJO), the Library and the European Documentation Center, the DT HUB Center, the Career Services Office of Business Cooperation Center, the Promotion Center, students and mentors from the Business Individual Study Program, and LG Energy Solution Wroclaw. The coordination and execution of this fantastic event also benefited from the dedication of volunteers, including Dr. Anna Jędrzychowska, Dr. Katarzyna Smolny, Dr. Ewa Szostak, prof. WUEB, and Dr. Łukasz Olipra.
We extend heartfelt thanks to all members of our academic community who contributed to this event.
The friendly atmosphere was created by the participants themselves, inspired by a rich lineup of games and activities, such as:
- ID Quizzes;
- Interactive stands;
- Discover Your Potential competition (FRIS in Polish/IP121 in English);
- The Wheel of Fortune;
